Inspire Within Devotion

Scripture

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

Psalm 90:12, NIV

Encouragement

Our days in this world are numbered, so we should use our time intentionally and wisely. This verse is a prayer of Moses and we should consider making this our prayer as well. Managing our time is hard, we have to balance so many different things. It’s easy to lose track of time, procrastinate, waste time, and even put pressure on ourselves to do too much. Praying to God about stewarding our time well can help to give us wisdom on how to make the most of the time that we are given each day.

Reflection

Are you stewarding your time well? Consider if you need to be more intentional, or maybe you need to set aside time for rest. Take a minute to pray and ask God to help you to manage your time wisely and to treat time as a gift.

Quote

"Our days in this world are numbered, so we should use our time intentionally and wisely."
