“For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.’”
Romans 1:17, NIV
Encouragement
The Gospel reveals the righteousness of God’s plan by providing a way for us to be saved and how we ought to live our life. From faith in God, we are declared righteous. When we live by that faith, we are choosing to trust in Him throughout all circumstances. Our relationship with God must have faith and trust in Him. God’s gracious plan to send His Son as our Savior is the reason why have the future hope of eternal life. Amen!
Reflection
Is your faith in God? Romans 10:9-10 (NIV) says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” For further study, read Romans 10.
