“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. Encouragement
We must have a foundation build on Christ and put into practice what Christ says. A foundation on the rock is a relationship with Christ and depends on Him for all things. A foundation on the sand is a life built on superficial and meaningless things—anything other than a relationship with Christ. The storms of life bring out the difference between each foundation. Let us be in a relationship with the Lord, put into practice what He says, and depend on Him in all seasons of our life.
