Inspire Within Daily Devotional

Daily Scripture

Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

John 15:4, NIV

Daily Encouragement

Remain, abide, and Live in Christ. To bear fruit, we have to be in Christ. There is no way to bear fruit on our own. Like a vine bears fruit because it is connected to its source of life—the vine, we bear fruits because we are connected to Christ, who is our vine.

Through our relationship with God and time in His presence, we remain in Him. A great way to abide in Christ is to read His Word. When we read it consistently, God will begin to show us amazing things about who He is and how to live. Those encounters with God will build us up in our faith and lead us to God’s best for our life.

Daily Reflection

How do you remain in Christ? Spend time with God. Read God’s Word. Abide in His Words. Take it to heart and meditate on it. Read it aloud and declare it! Apply what you learn to your life and obey the Lord always. A life centered on Christ will bear fruit!

Daily Quote

"To bear fruit, we have to be in Christ."
