Inspire Within Daily Devotional

Daily Scripture

He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.”
Revelation 22:20, NIV

Daily Encouragement

Jesus came to earth as a baby to live a sinless and perfect so that He could be the atonement for the sins of all mankind. Around 40 days after His resurrection from the grave, Jesus ascended to heaven to be seated on the right hand of God. “Seated on the right hand of God” means that Jesus was given a special place of honor.

Though it does not end there. Jesus will return to earth again! We do not know the hour or the day, nor does the Son (Matthew 24:26), but we do know that Jesus Christ is going to return to gather His People so that “we will be with the Lord forever”. (1 Thessalonians. 4:16-17) What a wonderful day that will be!

Daily Reflection

Take some time to read what Christ said before His ascension and about His return. Be prayerful about what you read and let the Spirit lead and teach you as you study the Scriptures.
  • Matthew 24:1-51
  • John 14:1-31
  • 1 Thessalonians 4:1-18 through 5:1-28

Daily Quote

"We do not know the hour or the day, nor does the Son (Matthew 24:26), but we do know that Jesus Christ is going to return to gather His People so that 'we will be with the Lord forever'."
