This verse states that nothing can be hidden from God. He knows all and sees all. God sees all that you do and all that you experience and even knows what you think and feel. Everything about you is laid bare and uncovered before His eyes. This should be a comfort to you, because God knows you intimately and still loves you despite your imperfection and sins. By God's mercy and grace, you are made alive with Christ! (Ephesians 2:4-5)
To God, there are no secrets, so there is no need to try to “hide” anything from God. It’s a wonderful blessing to be able to communicate with God through prayer. You can talk to the One who created you and all creation! Let that sink in. If there is anything about your life that you feel the urge to hide from God, let me assure you that you can talk to God about it. It not only will feel good, but God will always lead you in the right direction and away from wrong.
Daily Reflection
Today, if you need to know that God sees and knows you intimately, read Psalm 139 and be encouraged. Or if you have a sin or going in a direction that you are “hiding” from God, talk to Him about it and confess your sins, so that you can be obedient to God and follow His direction for your life.
