Our God is so good. He is full of nothing but GOOD. There is not an ounce of darkness in Him. For that fact alone, He deserves our praise. Today, I was listening to one of my favorite worship songs, King of My Heart, which has two lines that always speaks to my spirit. “You are good. You’re good. Oh-oh. You are good.” And “You’re never gonna let me down.” There is a comfort in knowing that our God is good . He will never let us down, because He is good to us. The more we remind our spirit of the Lord’s goodness, the more we trust that He will not let us down, even in the hard times.
Saying that God is never going to let us down does not mean that there will not be challenges that come our way. In spite of the hardships, we have our relationship with God and He will get us through our hardships the more we seek Him. It is through our time with Him that there is actually hope to get through the hard times. We must look to Him as the all-knowing God that He IS. Trusting God among the chaos is way easier said than done, but if we can gather up the faintest amount of trust it will get us ahead of our life trials.
In order to trust God, it goes back to the goodness of God. If we, above all else, cling to the fact (yes, fact, not how we feel) that God is surely good, then we can confidently trust in God. Regardless of the unfortunate situation we are in, He can be trusted to not let you down, because you know that ultimately, He is good and will be good to you. Since, God is good!
