The One Born of God is Not of the World - Daily Devotional

We all commit sin, but the one who is born of God will ask God for forgiveness and continue to faithfully serve Him and obey Him. Being born of God means you are a new creation, following Christ and His commandments, so you have turned from your old ways. Through life in Christ, we are free from the bondage of sin and no longer live under Satan’s control. We are children of God and are not of this world. The world is under the control of the evil one. That means that people of the world live a life full of continual sin and remain there. 



Life in Christ keeps you safe from Satan, so your life should not remain in sin. It does not mean that you will never sin again or that you won’t ever be tempted again. Moreover, the enemy cannot harm you or control you, because you are not of the world, but rather, you are of God and following His path for your life.
