The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

Daily Encouragement
You are not of the world. You have received the Spirit who is from God. The Holy Spirit was gifted to us from the Father as our Helper. The Spirit is your guide and teacher to convict and give wisdom and lead you to obedience. Only a person of the Lord can understand the message of the Word through spiritual eyes. The world can only see it through the eyes of the world.
Through the wisdom and discernment from the Holy Spirit, you can spiritually understand and have insight into God’s message of the gospel. The people of the world do not have the Spirit to understand spiritual discernment, but only the wisdom of man, so they consider it foolishness. Our spiritual discernment can help us see life from God’s perspective, recognize the ways of the Spirit, make wise life decisions, interpret Scripture, identify false teachers/doctrine, and distinguish good and evil.
