Daily Encouragement

As a child of God, you are chosen out of this world. You are NOT of the world and following its evil desires. The world loves the one who belongs to the world but despises the one who has been chosen out of the world. Christians may endure hatred and persecution in their life because the world hates the Holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The world does not know Jesus or the Father and they reject Him. The one who loves Jesus loves the Father who sent Him.


Jesus said that if the world hates you remember that it hated Him first. The Lord was hated for no reason. He was God in human form and lived an absolute sinless and perfect life on earth. Therefore, anyone who knows the Lord and chosen out of this world, the world will hate them because their heart has hatred toward the Lord. Thankfully the Lord gave us the Holy Spirit, the Counselor, to be our guide and strength during challenging times like persecution and hatred from the world.

Daily Reflection

If you are experiencing hatred and persecution in life because of your Christianity, keep standing firm on the Word of God. You are not alone, because the world hated Jesus first. Seek God and His Holy Spirit to give you the strength to endure this trial.
