Come and See Bible Study Review by Daily Grace Co.

The Come and See Bible study is ten-week Bible study that is an in-depth study of the whole book of John. The theme of John is centered around knowing and believing in Jesus. The Daily Grace Co. named this Bible study “Come and See” to come and see who Jesus is. They describe the Gospel of John as “a call to faith that trusts Him not just for salvation, but for every moment of our lives.” An overflowing and abundant life can only be found in Christ. Every part of the Gospel of John points us to Jesus Christ.

The book of John is written for everyone, no matter the age. John wrote this book so that all people would believe in Jesus Christ, the Messiah. It is a unique gospel because instead of being a synopsis Gospel, it shows the deity of Jesus Christ—He is the Divine God in human form. It is a great book that everyone should read since we all need Jesus. The Daily Grace Co. states it wonderfully on their website, “the book of John is for those brand new to the Bible and those that have been following Jesus for years”.

Gospel means Good News—the Good News of Christ. There are four Gospels because the Jewish Law required that there must be more than one witness to make a story valid. In John 8:17-18 (NIV), Jesus said “In your own Law it is written that the testimony of two men is valid. I am the one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me.” (Old Testament reference to this Law is in Deuteronomy 17:6.)
