When we commit to God, then our plans will succeed. As humans, we tend to choose to do our plans over God’s plans, but that should not be. God’s plans are the best plans for us. They always lead us the right way, no matter what they are, because God has a reason for it and can see the bigger picture.
God has a plan for everyone, but it is our choice to choose to obey and commit to Him by walking His path for our life. There is a purpose for everyone; that includes YOU! If you commit to God’s purpose for your life, you don’t have to worry about your plans leading you the wrong way. Like the Scripture says, “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” Seek God, commit to Him, and follow what He says.

Think about a specific endeavor in your life. Are you committed to the Lord with it? Are you allowing God to lead the way in your life and plans? Or do you like to take back the control when things don’t go your way?
