God is without beginning or end; everlasting. Our Everlasting God, who is, who was, and who is to come.
“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.” Isaiah 40:28, ESV
“‘I am the Alpha and the Omega,’ says the Lord God, ‘who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.’”
Revelation 1:8, ESV
“Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he.” Isaiah 41:4, ESV
God is unwavering in loyal devotion to His purposes and plans; trustworthy in all His ways.
“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,” Deuteronomy 7:9, ESV
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23, ESV
“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:9, ESV
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
1 John 1:9, ESV
“But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.” 1 Thessalonians 3:3, ESV
“For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” Psalm 100:5, ESV
God is righteous and pure; there is no wickedness in God. God does not sin, rather He only does good.
“The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made.” Psalm 145:9, ESV
“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!” Psalm 34:8, ESV
“And Jesus said to him, ‘Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.” Luke 18:19, ESV
God shows kindness and grace to us who does not deserve.
“The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.” Psalm 145:8, ESV
“But the Lord was gracious to them and had compassion on them, and he turned toward them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, nor has he cast them from his presence until now.”
2 Kings 13:23, ESV
“Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.” Isaiah 30:18
God is divine and set apart. His holiness has no equal.
“‘To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?’ says the Holy One” Isaiah 40:25, ESV
“And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say, ‘Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!’” Revelation 4:8, ESV
“As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, ‘You shall be holy, for I am holy.’” 1 Peter 1:14-16, ESV

God is well beyond our human understanding.
“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.” Psalm 145:3, ESV
“‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.’” Isaiah 55:8-9, NIV
“Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!” Romans 11:33, ESV
God is unchanging and unchangeable. He does not change, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
“God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” Numbers 23:19, NIV
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” James 1:17, ESV
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8, ESV
God is immeasurable and without limit.

“Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.” Psalm 147:5, ESV
God expects the adoration and reverence that He rightly deserves.
“You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.”
Exodus 20:4-6, ESV
“For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.” Deuteronomy 4:24, ESV
God is perfectly just and stands in opposition to evil. He decrees judgement in accordance with His justice and holiness.
“The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright
is he.” Deuteronomy 32:4, ESV
“For I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong; I will faithfully give them their recompense, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.” Isaiah 61:8, ESV
God’s love is everlasting; steadfast and unconditional love.
“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.” Ephesians 2:4-5, ESV
“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” 1 John 4:16, ESV
God is compassionate and merciful to withhold the wrath that we deserve.
“But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.” Titus 3:4-7, ESV
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23, ESV
“Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.” Luke 6:36, ESV
God is all-powerful and limitless in His strength.
“Then Job replied to the Lord: ‘I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.” Job 42:1-2, ESV
“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27, ESV
“Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26, ESV
God is everywhere and ubiquitous; His ever-present presence is always near us.
“Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.” Psalm 139:7-8, ESV
“The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.” Proverbs 15:3, ESV
“‘Am I only a God nearby,’ declares the Lord, ‘and not a God far away? Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?’ declares the Lord. ‘Do not I fill heaven and earth?’ declares the Lord.” Jeremiah 23:23-24, ESV
Our God is all-knowing and nothing is unknown to Him.
“He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.” Psalm 147:4, ESV
“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:13, ESV
“If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.” 1 John 3:20, ESV
Our God is persistent and long-suffering. God provides ample opportunities for people to commit to following Him.
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9, ESV
“But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.”
Psalm 86:15, ESV
God exists by His power alone; For God was not created.
“Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.” Psalm 90:2, ESV
“Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:3-5, ESV
“For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.” John 5:26, ESV
God sustains Himself. He does not depend on anyone or anything; Dependent on nothing.
“‘The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.” Acts 17: 24-25, ESV
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:28-31, ESV
God is in control and reigns over all things.
“For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” Colossians 1:16-17, ESV
“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.” Psalm 24:1-2, ESV
“Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.”

God is the measurement of what is fact and through Him we can discern true and false.
“Whoever has accepted it has certified that God is truthful.” John 3:33, ESV
“He who is the Glory of Israel does not lie or change his mind; for he is not a human being, that he should change his mind.’” 1 Sam 15:29, ESV
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

God is the utmost source of knowledge and understanding.
“For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” 1 Corinthians 1:25, ESV
“By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew.” Proverbs 3:19-20, ESV
