“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah 40:28-31, NIV
It is great news that the Lord does not grow tired and weary. God’s strength is everlasting. God’s power is everlasting. Even young people get tired and weak, but our God does not grow weak. God is strong and powerful! As humans, we get tired and weary, but we must not forget that those who hope in the Lord will have renewed strength.
If our hope is in the Lord, we will be renewed by His strength. The mighty strength of the Lord can be our strength when we are weak or stumble. It is not a matter of if we get tired or stumble, because we will have times of we fall and stumble. We are weak in our strength, but we are strong in the Lord. Let us hope in God to renew our strength so that we will soar on wings like eagles, run and not grow weary, and walk and not be faint!
Are you tired and weary? Ask God to renew your strength through His everlasting strength. God will give you the strength to soar!
"If our hope is in the Lord, we will be renewed by His strength."
